There is a significant threat to both humans and the natural world when body fluids are released into the environment. When there is a leak or spills of body fluid, you should utilise the items in a spill kit. With their support, the leak may be contained and the cleanup operation can begin.
Only in the event of an emergency should spill kits be utilised. Basic products including personal protective equipment, leak-stopping materials, trash bags, and drain-sealing materials are used in the creation of the vast majority of these items. It’s possible that certain workplaces have spill kits of varying sizes and uses.
You should always put your own safety first when dealing with a spill. We cover in our Spill Kit Training for Bodily Fluids course what goes into a spill kit, why it’s important, and what to do in the event of a spill.
