£12.00

SKU: COURSE-1197 Category:

Levels 1 and 2 of the Safeguarding Children training programme are covered, as is standard 11 of the Care Certificate. According to the WHO, up to 1 billion children between the ages of 2 and 17 have experienced physical, psychological, or sexual abuse. Anyone who interacts with children, whether on the job or as a volunteer, must complete Safeguarding Children training. This course examines the frequently complex topic of child abuse, including the many forms of abuse, how to recognise the warning signs, and how to properly and covertly disclose your concerns so that the issue is treated.

Children must be kept secure from danger and abuse in order to be properly safeguarded. It entails advancing their health and welfare and assisting them in creating a secure and nurturing environment in which to grow up. Both level 1 and level 2 are covered in this IIRSM-approved course.

The 4 R’s of child protection—Recognize, Respond, Report, and Record—must be understood if you even infrequently work with children because up to one in three children sexually assaulted by adults never report it. By teaching you the value of speaking out and acting swiftly, this Safeguarding Children course will assist you in recognising and effectively responding to the warning signs of child abuse.

The importance of safeguarding in educational contexts cannot be overstated, but this information also applies to the care and leisure industries.
