What we put into our bodies has a significant impact on our overall health and welfare; this is something that should be of special concern for those who are living in care facilities. It is of the utmost importance that people who live in care facilities have the correct nutrition and food that they require since (in some situations), they are more prone to getting sick.
Employees in the Care department will be aware of the signs and symptoms of inadequate nutrition and hydration, in addition to understanding what fluids, foods, and nutrition patients will require, as well as how to handle food safety, and how to manage it.
The necessity of proper nutrition and hydration, as well as the role that they play in ensuring the residents of a care facility continue to enjoy excellent health and a high quality of life, will be taught to employees.
